I would really love to attend playdates but it’s either it doesn’t go with my schedule or the location is too far. We do not have any othe toddler in the house so I really love to see Iya play with othe kids
I enrolled her in Gymboree last May-June for 5 sessions. She really loved it there but unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the playgroup. I heard a lot of good reviews for Gymboreee but I guess it doesn’t work for all the kids.
I decided to ask one of my college friends if we can have our kids play with each other. We met up at Trinoma. At first, we went to Gymboree because I still have gym play coupons we can use. Unfortunately, it was not open for gym play the whole day. We just transferred to Kevin’s Toys and Library.
The place is generally OK. We were there early so the kids had time to enjoy the place to themselves. Then the bigger kids started coming in with their nannies. It’s kind of annoying because some of the nannies were just sitting in the corner doing nothing while their kids play around and doesn’t care of they hurt smaller kids! One of the nannies just came to us when I scolded her alaga because he went down the slide while Iya was still at the bottom when I told him to wait! Good thing Iya wasn’t hurt.
We paid Php 240 for 1 hour play for each kid. It is located at 3rd floor Trinoma mall. You might want to bring your own socks because they require adults to wear one.
After or one-hour play, we went down to have lunch. Where else? Of course, JOLLIBEE!
After our lunch, we bid goodbye to each other because my friend still has to go to work. We told the kids to say bye-bye and to our surprise, Iya kissed Uye on the lips! Ha! Good thing they’re just 2-year-olds…
It was a fun fun day. I hope there will be another playdate for Iya.
